Gun Control...
Weapons are weapons. People have and will find ways to harm someone or something to get what they want. Before there were guns, there were knives, and it goes back to bows and arrows. But the main concern for banning guns is the rise in crime and the fact that they are the number one weapon of choice. Think about the millions of people who've died accidentally or even purposely that should still be around today.
I don't think banning guns is the answer, but I do think there needs to be a much harder way to get your hands on them

More "Ticked Off'
First off you’re an idiot for leaving your items unattended.
Secondly, walking off with groceries people? Is there no decency left in this country?
“I'm ticked off at the person at a fitness center who stole my swimming suit, which was hanging on my shower stall. I hope you get what I've got!”
They were probably just trying to be funny by stealing your swimsuit (which I don’t see the humor in), but thanks for warning us all of your condition.
“Many people fill the food drive bags with expired food cans and boxes.”
Oh Come On!

Enough Already
I wish everyone would just get over it. Let the search parties look for the body, but don't give this pathetic piece any more spotlight. The fact that she could be so selfish, she's probably eating this all up. Her 15 minutes are over, leave her alone until she has something important to say, like "this is where you'll find her..."
Continually making her the "big news" only fuels her fire. And in case you didn't know, this isn't about her. It's about the kid. Find the kid and let this woman rot. And if you don't find the kid, keep raising bail and postponing trial till she at least hangs herself. The faster the media forgets about this woman, the faster they move her out of solitary and the general population can have their way with her.
Either way, it just goes to show that the Weekly was right, the dumbest shit always seems to happen in Florida.

5 Hours Later!
Oh and by the way, UHC sucks. If you need help, go to your "preferred" specialist.
$75 vs $35 per visit, you do the math.

Unjustifiable
What about the other guy that just stood there, held the kid down, and watched it take place? Why hasn't he lost his job? Or the others that come in kicking with their tasers? What about them? The kid was just hit in the face 13 times, if he wasn't unconcious by then, I'm sure he was pretty damn close to it, he wasn't fighting back. So what's the deal? They just get to keep running the streets? They are just as bad (if not worse) as the people they were hired to take off the streets. And it isn't just here, it's all over the country.
It doesn't matter what color a person is, they shouldn't have to take shit like that from the very people who's job it is to do the exact opposite. And they wonder why we don't trust them...

Is there any happiness left?
Of course it's all about the fear tactics and that's how the media keeps us watching, but why not mix it up a little. Give us a reason to want to go outside. I gave up cable television over 2 years ago and only check the news online for the weather. But now I think I'll just direct my web browser straight to weather.com or something like that. Just bypass the news all together.
It's sad to know that they want you to be afraid all the time. It's even sadder that we fall for it every day.

Weekend News Update...
Police say the 42-year-old man dialed 911 twice last week so he could have his sub made correctly. The second call was to complain that officers weren't arriving fast enough.
Subway workers told police Peterson became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store after he left to call police. When officers arrived, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911.
Those efforts failed, and he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls.
Simply amazing isn't it?!

Batman on Broadway
Sure it was a hit, because batman was big back then and sure people were a little weird in the 90's. But soon there will be another wave of all things Batman due to this movie being out and all I ask of you is please, PLEASE for the love of all that is Batman, please keep Prince, a.k.a. the artist formerly known as and the guy that only goes by the sign, held up away from all recording studios and camcorders and mics.
I won't blame you for not watching the whole thing. It was a little too much for me.

A-List Trash
Is that what matters most to the next generation? Who’s wearing what to the Oscars and which star is pregnant or getting arrested this week? Sad, to think it’s true. I can't beleive that's what kids these days are looking forward too. Let me explain something to you guys:
Celebrities are NORMAL PEOPLE. I know it's hard to believe, but at one point in their lives they probably did most of the same things you do on a daily basis. Then one day someone noticed their talent and now they're on TV and have maids do all the "dirty work."
Maybe if you weren't so interested in Britney's boob job or what Brangelina's naming the twins, you could work on your talents and some poor 13 year old will read about you in "A-List Trash" one day.
Parents: please teach your kids not to be "Paris-sites"
and
Celebrities: remember that you're always on film whether you like it or not. It's the price you pay for living as lavishly as you do. So be responsible about it because someone's always watching whether they're 30 or 13.
Open Your Eyes
Rant #1:
Entry into the Sentinel’s Ticked Off 04/02:
"Congress is investigating the trivial issue of pharmaceuticals in our drinking water instead of pursuing the importance of substances in our major league baseball players."
My Response:
Trivial?!? I'd like to hope this is blatant sarcasm because otherwise...
What the ball players do to themselves is their own problem. I can’t believe people in this country care more about baseball than unknown substances in their tap water. Maybe drinking the hallucinogenic water is why Bush has been president for 8 long and unproductive years filled with greed. Maybe being drugged into not caring is why we’ve allowed him to continue to destroy this country and others. A statement like yours just goes to show what matters most to the majority of people in this nation and honestly, it’s sickening.
Needless to say they didn't publish it. Was it my distasteful affection for our mass murdering leader? He should be held on as low a pedestal as Hitler. Seriously.
People wonder why I can't choose between democrat or republican. Because no candidate for either party has ever appealed to me. They all look, sound and smell like liars. They said anything to get where they are and they'll say anything to get where they want to be. Does anyone really think they have our interests at heart. (When I say our I mean: citizens of a country as a whole) No, everyone thinks of themselves first. Especially politicians. Is it not apparent with the head of the house now? I'd like to know how much time people have spent trying to get those "W" stickers off their windows....
